Besides using Hudoq masks, various Dayak groups in East Kalimantan use masks in ceremonies marking major events in the life-cycle. The goat masks collected are used by the Kenyah Dayaks in celebrating marriage ceremonies while the Benuaq Dayak use wooden skulls masks in their funeral rites.
